Suspect unknown at this time. Attempts are being made to identify. The unknown suspect was able to unlawfully take $122.86 worth of candy which was purchased with a credit card from the school.

Crime Description:

On Monday August 3, 2026, at approximately 13:15 hours, an unknown white male entered the LRC Building from the breezeway between the buildings. Dawn Skinner, the Human Resource Administrator, was seated at her computer working in her office Rm#L288B when an adult male entered the office complex and approached her door. Ms. Skinner said the unknown male asked where he could find a printed schedule that shows our hours of operation. Ms. Skinner asked a follow up question to clarify what he needed, then directed him to the appropriate location in the building where he could obtain the information. Ms. Skinner stated shortly after their conversation ended, she heard the sound of bags rustling. Ms. Skinner said from her position she could only see an arm quickly grabbing the bags. Ms. Skinner got up and walked outside her office into the hallway but did not see anyone. Ms. Skinner stated the items that had been stole were located in the outer office area near her window. Mr. Fox, the IT Technician for ACTC, was able to obtain and provide still photographs and a video of the incident. With further investigation of the video, it depicted the white unknown male entering the LRC Building from the breezeway located between the main building and her location (LRC). The white unknown male made several trips down the hall looking around and making several stops getting a drink of water from the water fountain when other people would enter the hallway. At approximately 13:13 hours the white unknown male made conversation with Lauren Litteral, an employee of the college. Ms. Litteral was standing at the vending machine located just outside the door of Ms. Skinner's office. The unknown male asked Ms. Litteral for the time and where the cafeteria is located. Additional people passed the unknown male as he was staring into the vending machine looking like he was choosing an item. Once the hallway was clear the unknown male removed his ball cap and placed it under his shirt. The unknown male pulled his hoodie up on his head and entered Ms. Skinner's office. The unknown male exited the office and fled quickly down the hall exiting at the same entrance he entered. The unknown male walked around the rear of the main building towards the Good Pastor Building. The male walked around the backside of the main building close to the wall not using the sidewalk to keep from being seen. The male entered the back parking lot near maintenance and exited the area towards the front of the college. The total amount of items stolen equals $122.86. All evidence including photographs, video, written statement from Ms. Skinner and a copy of the receipt with the stolen items highlighted are entered into evidence at the Boyd County Sheriff's Office.
