Crime Description:
OCTC B. Tipmore, Associate Dean of Student Discipline, and Director of Counseling Center was made aware of the following : two female students expressed concerns about inappropriate behavior, unwanted touching, and concerning comments made by a male student during the skills portion of the class, which constitutes harassment under The 1990 Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, and per Kentucky law, which defines harassment under KRS 525.070, which requires that the conduct be intentional and directed at another person with the purpose of alarming, annoying, or intimidating them. The statute covers various forms of harassment, including striking, shoving, making obscene gestures, or engaging in repeated communications that serve no legitimate purpose. The law differentiates between socially unpleasant interactions and conduct that rises to the level of legal harassment.
