Crime Description:
At approximately 1751 on 09/17/24, a member of environmental services reported to security that students told her that there was a person running and screaming "someone was chasing him with a gun and trying to kill him". Safety immediately red carded the buildings, called 911 and deployed to the area. The supervisor also informed the chief who activated the Snap alert. Police arrived at 1808 and informed us that the person causing the confusion was on drugs and hallucinating saying someone was chasing him with a gun. The Police walked through the HSB to confirm the building was safe. The police then transported him to the U of L emergency room. The all clear was given.
